Jokes aside, that literally does not have to be a forever state of "I fell for bullshit so much I just keep falling for bullshit". We can pull ppl outta that. It's hard and tricky, worse for others than some, but can be done.

Reminds me how Nazi propaganda would express common grievances about pollution, losing touch with nature, or frustration with industrial capitalism & then misattribute all of those problems to urban ethnic minorities. It’s an insidious twist to be on guard against.
