I think a big plus are the ones where they take a lot of the widescreen real estate and put stats in it like scoring & combo stuff. Garegga 2016 is a prime example.
A minus would be companies that don't concentrate on framerate/lag with re-issues/ports. City Connection has a bad rep for that
