Just learned about (and promptly purchased) this book by Lydia Davis. It is only available at independent bookstores, libraries, and bookshop.org (which published the book) expressly to resist Amazon's dominance in bookselling. I knew Lydia Davis was cool, but I didn't know she was this cool.

I got a new keyboard because I am a klutz and spilled coffee on my last one. This one was very reasonably priced and I'm already enjoying it more than my last one (which was about double the cost). The only thing it's missing is wireless connectivity but I don't really need that

Just heard of Poppy. Stephen Harrison (The Chariot) helped with production of her new album Negative Spaces which is pop metalcore. I find myself drawn more to the pop elements than the metalcore elements
