Elites and politicians pretend about climate change but they know how dire things are getting, hence the race to hoard resources. It’s not just rampant greed. Don’t get me wrong, that plays a role, but more billionaires than ever recognize collapse is coming and it’s more about a resource grab now.

Controlling the media and discrediting any press which criticizes you is the first step that allows an authoritarian regime to consolidate power.
