Sour orange marmalade, made from self seeded 🌱 wild fruit which is too bitter to eat but makes a great albeit bitter marmalade.

Should be peak lupine bloom now. Will die back by summer, to be replaced by summer blooming blue vetch, planted 3 years ago and coming in stronger year by year. Both nitrogen fixing perennials in the Fabaceae 🌱 family

Green manures 🌱: Lupinus Luteus (yellow lupin) winter bloom. To be followed by Vicia Faba (fava beans) spring bloom and Vicia Cracca (blue vetch) summer bloom.

2 year 🌱 irrigation master plan completed. Solved:
- from 10 to 4 places to turn water on/off daily in the summer
- separated zones = no over or under watering, (bleeding between zones), pressure problems solved
- aging, leaky, redundant tubing replaced for easier maintenance & cost
