My take is that there was a lot wrong with old fandom. Especially when it came to weirdo who were popular so you couldn’t say anything about them.
But let’s not act like fandom now doesn’t have a purity culture that just wasn’t happening before.

I need riot to just bite the bullet and rip Arcane and Main lore apart and make them separate universes again. PLEASE RIOT!
Arcane is a retcon of large parts of the League universe, by necessity. Or it SHOULD be. But Riot's track record on implementing that sort of thing is......... not great, if I'm being generous.
I’m not even sure it’s possible for this to be canon. So many characters have arcs completely incompatible with the world of the core universe.

I’m I the only one who lowkey hates it when people say they “love” something but they lowkey only interact with it because it’s cringe and they like laugh at it.
Like the creator put time and effort into this project and all this person can do is not take any of it seriously and think it’s dumb.
