We will develop a free, brief mental health intervention for upcoming authors. It doesn’t have to be this bad. Let’s do something about it. Interventions are inspired by/based on Dr. Greg Walton’s research at Stanford University. Check out: https://www.wiseinterventions.org/database ► Hearing and sharing stories of coping had beneficial effects for marginalized college students ► Conceptualizing ‘journey’ over ‘destination’ has a lasting positive influence on emotional adjustment ► Values affirmation improved outcomes and emotional adjustment in several settings At minimum, we’ll normalize a huge range of reactions to the process of debuting, provide solidarity, and instill hope.
