The heat is fuckin with them something awful. One of ours keeps going in the tv stand. Another keeps drinking out the paddling pool & looks like he’s seriously considering a dip.

I cannot get my head around this obsession with toilets. I was at a park yday & the “ladies” nearest the playground was out of order to everyone was just using the “mens”. In a cubicle, do your thing, wash your hands. What is the problem.

It’s a pretty saturated market on Merseyside at the moment. Husband is struggling for the first time. Any tips? He’s so good at what he does I hate seeing him losing heart.

Couldn’t agree more. It doesn’t have to be fancy just a “thanks for the quote but we’ve decided to go with someone else”. Mike’s recently had someone looking for a quote who wanted him to come at the same time as another decorator quoting 😳

Have you ever taken on an apprentice? It’s something my husband has considered with the college he trained at 30 odd years ago.

most pharmaceuticals come from outside the UK. If you want people making meds within the NHS you need to pay them properly. Band 3s make chemo ffs, they just had to get a payrise to ensure they were at least getting minimum wage. Pay us properly.

for obtaining a visa are due to go up & they still haven’t announced the NHS payrise for 25/26, there’s a hug chance they won’t be able to stay. Make it make sense.

We have a member of staff from India. They are a trained professional in an area where we need more but they cannot practise here. They have gained further qualifications here but is currently working in a band 2 role. As the threshold for minimum salaries

Protect him from what? He was frail & elderly so his death is hardly a shock. He wasn’t scared of dying. You think if he hadn’t made that address he’d have lived much longer? He didn’t want to be wrapped in cotton wool.

I don’t think the Pope really gets told what to do. If he didn’t want to go for he wouldn’t have.

They’d been talking about it in school & Nancy told me she was giving up sweets. I asked her which ones, she said “sour ones” which she never eats 🤣 when I told her sweets includes chocolate she nearly had a breakdown!
