reading this romcom and the premise is fun and the writing is pleasant but damn are the characters dislikable. and not in an intentional way, but in a way where you can tell the writer really thinks this how to to portray a good person. self absorbed, self pitying & unwilling to take responsibility.

It’s really difficult to cope with the overall regression we’re seeing in society. Women’s rights, social solidarity, racism, people’s change in values and behavior,… It’s difficult to comprehend how this happened so fast and how many gave into it so willingly.

I see some people be frustrated with the pacing but it’s exactly right. It’s a good, realistic pace. The tension is maintained. And the chase is the best part of every romance anyway.
Still, poor Taeha was so happy that things were moving forward but jaded Haesoo took half a step back again.
