Footage from the indie supercut of the march 27th 2025 Nintendo direct which appears to show footage of a game with a similar art style to bug fables, featuring a non-bipedal green moth creature and several hooded bug soldiers torching green moss formations with little flamethrowers. The backgrounds are more detailed than bug fables' but the characters are distinctly the same style and seem to be 2D "paper style" sprites. There is another creature crawling on the ground in the back which resembles a large midge or perhaps an un-elevated mosquito character

The poster, who blocked me for the quote tweet, following up the original post with "Some of you are going to look at me askance for this second post because so much of our Current Problem is the purview of divorced men. But I think this is just a historical accident. Some men curdle after a break up, as we've seen. But better men learn. Those guys still exist.

The abomination known as pupu, an alien that appears only on a very specific unremarkable looking cliffside on the final fantasy 8 world map, and is the only means of obtaining his corresponding Triple Triad card which is necessary to complete the deck. He looks like a cyan pikmin with no leaf on his head, slightly chubbier, and with tiny black eyes instead. Fuck this guy
