Mum’s 2 year anniversary today, miss her dearly & not a day goes by without her popping into my head.
Here she is in her early 20s in Oct ‘76, I’m about to turn two.
We were living (a long way from Wigan, Scholes & St Pats) in Libya at the time, family in the photo where our neighbours.

I took my son to seem them in Liverpool, back end of 2008 when he was ready for turning 8.

Busy day off, Fudge had a 3 mile leg stretch down to Appley Bridge and back, taking in the canal, the golfers and his new mate ‘Democrat’.
Now back to the Good Parish of Shevington, car washed and just polished off a couple of poachies on bagels with a fresh pot of coffee.

Fantastic few days in Germany, took in 2 games.
In the away end with Freiburg enjoying a last minute winner at Borussia Mönchengladbach & a regional game watching Turu 1880 Düsseldorf.
Topped off with a slower day taking in the magnificent Köln Cathedral.
Great country, great people & great beer!
