It's pretty easy when it never rains here! I'm exaggerating, but I always intended to put fenders on my commuter bike, but then I so rarely get caught in the rain that I just never got around to it.

On one level, I thought we were past this kind of blatant suburban-voter pandering.
On another level, based on the pace of bike-land construction over the last four years, I'm not sure I would even notice a freeze.
Either way, sigh.

I had an embarrassing number of photos and videos on my phone of me with the bike. But this is also another reason to register your bike.

This is great, thank you. Talk of things like "stormwater management" and "bioswales" is fine, but what I get excited about in Montreal (beyond bike lanes, of course) is trees, trees and trees. Trees might be the beast way to get non-urban nerds to care about this stuff. Trees make life better

Thanks Daorcey! I'll check those masks out. I haven't explored them too deeply yet.

I don't know about the mask, but that bike is 👌

I think a lot of people have lower seats when they are nervous about being able to put their feet down when they stop. You see a lot of people on ebikes riding like this as well, and I suspect the extra weight makes them want to get their feet on the ground quickly.

This is the correct answer. It's the generic corporate-speak-AI-spam that made me laugh.
