My current lunch break reading at work is Mrs Pankhurst's Purple Feather by Tessa Boase. I am LOVING this book. The opening chapters on feather workers in late Victorian London are a fascinating exploration of a lesser-known (and highly exploitative) industry.

Just had my traditional Christmas Eve twilight walk through the forest to my mum & dad's, and thanks to @cerihoulbrook.bsky.social's little boy, I felt like a fairy tale hero as I walked (avoiding the scary swamp). ❤️
