I had an abnormal pap when I was a teen. My Dr. didn't explain anything to me, but they made me watch on the screen as they took the little biopsy. I tried to get them regularly after that. But sometime in my 20s I was informed that "they are not longer necessary yearly for people under 35" 🙄

It's very odd. When someone asks I automatically say black. But then when I'm picking out clothes I notice I'm drawn to all these soft, girly colors.

I expect perfection from myself and it's easy to walk away from something I'm not good at. But I've learned to enjoy the doing, regardless of the outcome. So thanks @lizcanfly.bsky.social for getting me started on this journey. It's brought so much happiness to my friends group 💖

This month, I let one of my friends pick the theme. She chose classic novels. It's been the most challenging month yet. But, I see soooooo much progress and growth in my abilities. I've never stuck with a "hobby" this long. Some days I want to give up.
