I always seem to be driving when I see sundogs. So it was nice to be able to catch a picture of one (or two) while I'm at the doctor's office.

Mary Ann (the calico) has been separated from mom and brother for a month until a week ago. Kiefer came home a week ago after a nip and tuck. Today is the first day of them playing and mom not attacking them which she was doing to both without provocation until Thur and yesterday she was just meh.

So, uh, explain this logic to me @altusps.bsky.social . Destination is Sparta NC which it has been in twice and has left twice to go to somewhere else. Not to be delivered. Ridiculous. Not blaming Alt USPS but it's the closest to USPS I can get here.

I don't know if 3 is completely doable but they can do it a lot more than none at all. Especially if they're not going to do anything in the first place.

Huge thank you to the Army Corps of Engineers for taking care of my Widowmaker tree and other items that fell during hurricane Helene or from the ice storm we had a few months later. Now to save up money for landscaping.

Last night I was burning boxes because it was cool enough and the new feral family had never seen fire before. They were fascinated by the wood stove, especially Kiefer.
