There's so much great journalism out there but the overwhelmingly majority of the best stuff is coming from small scrappy outfits that understand there's so much more than "both sides" and that fair reporting is a better standard than the illusion of objective reporting.

Just updated the Seattle City Light account and wow could the private sector learn a lot from them. The least stressful of all the stuff I've had to do these last weeks and probably the most secure.

I don't know if his taking this much more amiable approach would have made the contest even closer but this is such a different and much more likable person than the one who showed up at debates.

Exactly. When we finally pass progressive revenue at the state level, we need to do it in a way that claws back the decades of underfunding and frontloads that. Then gradually scale back to a sustainable rate that offers a solid social safety net for all the essentials.
