First experience with the series at all. From talking with a couple of friends, it sounds like if I really want any more, I should play the PS2 Yakuza games since they're probably more my vibe. That being said, I've no intention to play any of the remakes or new entries.

I think I would've been a lot more accepting of the bloat though if it wasn't checklists and constantly stopping me on the street to pay attention to side content that was tacked-on mini-games at best.

I bought a grip for it earlier this year and it's made a lot more cozy to play for sure. Reminded me why I used to play it all the time.

I got in the habit of doing this back in my MMO days. I just would start getting restless and eventually I made a habit to get up and walk around every so often instead of just ignoring it. Faked needing a bathroom break or something, just to have a valid excuse.
