Today in the wool shop, I learned that people are knitting emotional support chickens. There is a pattern and everything. They are soft and cuddly, fit beautifully in the arms, and never poop in your lap. I have 7 of the live variety, and they are the same. And no, my chickens never poop in my lap.

I thought the wildflower garden was a complete bust (see also: turkeys) but I was out there today, pulling up Oxalis and unidentifiable weeds, and I saw unidentified sprouting objects! I may have wildflowers after all!
