Sometimes folks ask why I writing unsolicited alt text for other people's posts.
Yes, it's a bit of work (and I always transcribe it by hand unless I can find a primary source), but I'm not doing it for them. I'm doing it for the people who need it and just yelling at them doesn't help those folks.
