You just died.

The 6th picture in your phone gallery is what killed you.

You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

You know what? If I was not part of the hive mind, I think she would try to rescue me, as we would have a great time drinking vodka and watching Golden Girls.

A themed short story anthology is always a joy, and 'As the Earth Dreams' edited by teresempierre.bsky.social joins Thyme Travellers as two of my favourite reads of this year. Favourites are 'The Hole in the Middle of the Word', 'A Fair Assessment' and 'Peak Day'.

Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's Barbarella's Alpha 7 spaceship with shag carpet interior.

climate change means it's October 5th in Montréal and I'm sitting on my balcony in a short-sleeved t-shirt, light skirt and flip-flops, and I'm still a little warm. A convertible just drove by with the top down. At least I have a good book of poetry to read.

I've had the pleasure to write two essays for @umbrellaent.bsky.social recently, for their releases of INTACTO (The Gambler’s Crutch: Good and Bad Luck in Intacto) and CYPHER (Am I Not Your Spy Girl: The Femme Fatale in Cypher). Both discs (and many more!) available to order. shop.umbrellaent.com.au

Post a movie you like with a terrible rotten tomatoes score.

I will champion this film until the day I die.

A ROOM IN THE FOREST by Heather Ramsay. a contemplative and rich story. I love diving into the Haida Gwaii location, the prose evoking the density and mystery of the place. love and secrets hidden in the trees. from Caitlin Press, recommended. #booksky

What a wonderful book FUNGAL is. I take delight & reflection on how she moves in the crossover spaces of her life & her love of mushrooms. My sister-in-law’s recent move to Winnipeg means more visits so I will get her this book and talk her into some local foraging. #canadianbooks #caturday

This seems a good book to end the month with. Also to go with my pipedream of being either a bryologist or mycologist.

Oh nothing to see here, just @mark-carney.bsky.social folding like a cheap sheet, caving into a fascist government. Elbows up, my ass. What a liar. What else will he sell us out on?
