Basically my thoughts too. Most of the discourse is just nonsensical bullshit because Expedition 33 is CLEARLY the work of a studio that has played a ton of JRPGs and cherry-picked bits they liked from all of them.
Playing Expedition 33, mostly I'm struck how this is a really solid evolutionary advancement- all I can figure is the "FINALLY A GOOD JRPG" people just, haven't played many games?
UI smartly borrows from Persona, music borrows a lot from Nier, world design FF10/MonHun, combat has a bit of XC3, etc

Una interpretación interesante. "La historia interminable" tiene muchas lecturas posibles.
Para mí, como obra de (meta)FANTASÍA, ofrece un retrato de lo que pasa cuando te entregas a ella como escapismo y perviertes su poder generativo desde adentro. Una obra que dialoga con su propia estética.
