A large % of the population are socially conservative but to the left on economics. The question is do you want their vote. It's larger than the % of the pop that are both socially liberal and economically to the left and the percentage that are both socially and econocally liberal.

The Greens are left of centre and get between 5 - 20 % of the vote. That is the space Corbyn will be working in. It's the Free Palestinine, Free Tuition fees mob and its scope is limited.
