AI search summaries are something we have been talking about a lot at @pifonline.bsky.social recently.

It was great to chat to @zoeamar.bsky.social for this @charitycomms.bsky.social article about the issues charities are facing – and how they can respond.
In this timely blog, Zoe Amar alongside digital experts across the sector explores AI's impact on search, as audiences turn to AI-generated summaries rather than charity websites. Dive in to read why this matters and what you can do to maintain visibility, trust, and support: https://bit.ly/47ei42m
AI’s impact on search: What your charity can do about disintermediation
Zoe Amar talks to fellow digital experts about how charities can respond to the influence of AI summaries and tools on how people find information online.

An interesting perspective on what growth looks like in charity communications 👇
In charity comms,  growth often doesn't follow a straight line. Teams can be small, resources are stretched, and you often wear multiple hats. Even so, growth is happening – it might just look a little different.

What’s one area where you’ve grown recently that might not show up in your job title?

This #HealthLiteracyMonth I want to highlight why we need to make #HealthInformation more accessible.

Each of the data points in the infographic are included in indvidual posts in the thread below, along with their references.

I've also highlighted some useful #HealthLiteracy resources.

- Improved accessibility.

The changes are the result of months of workshops, user testing and work from the PIF team. Huge thanks to everyone who shared their expertise and experience.
We are very happy to announce the new-look PIF TICK website is now live.

#AI is having a massive affect on the charity sector.

I spoke to @zoeamar.bsky.social about the work @pifonline.bsky.social is doing, alongside @mariecurieuk.bsky.social and Macmillan Cancer Support, to improve the saefty of AI search summaries. 👇

Amazing to see the PIF TICK mentioned in the same article as the one and only Olivia Colman!

Hopefully this collaboration will help raise awareness of the amazing information and support produced by Epilepsy Action.

It was an honour to be part of the selection panel for Reading Well for Families and to attend today’s launch.

Some of my favourite takeaways:
* Books can provide a script for feelings we are not yet able to articulate.
* If you have ever read something that made you feel less alone, recommend it.
We've had a fantastic day at the launch of @readingagency.bsky.social's Reading Well for Families at the Houses of Parliament.

The new collection supports the #MentalHealth and #Wellbeing of families during pregnancy and early years.

Research by @pifonline.bsky.social, @selfcareforum.bsky.social and the PCI found people are keen to take greater responsibility for their health but they consistently struggle to gain trusted, appropriate, personalised information and advice.

Today's joint statement sets out how to change that 👇
We have today published a joint statement with @selfcareforum.bsky.social and the Personalised Care Institute.

The statement calls for credible, personalised health information and advice to be embedded throughout the healthcare journey.

It was such a great experience recording this podcast with Laura.

The way we talk about numbers in #HealthInformation matters. It can either exclude users or help them make informed decisions.
