Forgot to post little miss angry bones today! She was perched on the couch and we were slow blinking each other. I thought, “Let’s see if I can give her a pet,” and reached my hand out slowly. I made it two whole feet from her before she swatted and growled. Silly girl! #catsofbluesky

Obligatory Not My Cat™️, but went to check in on this princess yesterday and she was clearly expecting her humans and then saw me and was like NOPE. We are making progress though as there was no growling or hissing. Small victories?

It’s also my favorite time of year, the time the walking iris blooms. They are so fragrant and beautiful and each one only lasts a day. Like a little bit of encouragement to savor each moment of our short existence, which is not easy these days.
