Finally....
As part of the expansion of the Shawnigan Lake Museum, new public washrooms, for the community, were built.
The washrooms are location on the north side of the building, facing the park.
Open daily.

A big tip-o-the-hat to the Parks Staff at CVRD for the superb landscaping job of the park surrounding the Museum. Next step is hydroseeding - coming soon....

During this week of snow we arrived one morning to see the roofers shovelling snow from the canopy roof to finish installing the membrane!

Slow progress being made on final completion.
Keep posted for an announcement regarding Grand Opening in the spring.

There was enough snow on the ground to be considered "white" 14 times or 28% of the time.
Amazingly White Christmas's happened once in the 1970s(1971), 4 times in the 1980s (1983,1983,1987,1988) although there were just enough to make the ground white in those years.
