Is there some kind of disease where you just never stop laughing for the rest of your life?
Trump’s bad week got a lot worse on Tuesday when judges blocked his Texas gerrymander, leaving Republicans wondering whether the nationwide remapping effort was worth the political capital.
Roadblocks leave Republicans questioning whether redistricting push was worth it
The White House push to redistrict ahead of the midterms suffered two more roadblocks on Tuesday.

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Poor Susan Collins! Her disappointment energy is very strong but it never makes it down to her fingers so she could vote the right way on nominations.
New from Susan Collins: “I strongly oppose OMB Director Russ Vought’s attempt to permanently lay off federal workers who have been furloughed due to a completely unnecessary government shutdown caused by Senator Schumer.”

I hate to admit how much of a relief this is.
You have to hand it to the generals. Unlike so many other people in this country, they know how to conduct themselves in public. They know they are supposed to be apolitical. So they greeted Trump's political speech with silence. And you could have heard a medal drop when Pete Hegseth finished.

not satire. Politico reporting that Trump is golfing with a shutdown imminent. But but but before you think Dems aren't equally to blame, they have a trip planned for 12 days after a potential shutdown.

@axios.com reports this as matter-of-factly as the score of last night’s game. If matter-of-factly is a word.

Except almost none of these can really be called slams. And a few seem perfectly reasonable - like Whitmer needing a day to decide what to do. Almost seems like Politico hates America - or is that a slam?

The right today: this violent rhetoric from the left has to stop and if it doesn’t, we will rip their throats out and collapse their skulls and slaughter their families until the streets are rivers of blood.

Another proof point that our media isn't up to this challenge. An apparent plan? The kids were literally sitting on airplanes!

I can just imagine the meeting where some consultants (full disclosure - I’m one) clicked on the PowerPoint side where “Serious About Safety” was rolled out as if it was some massive paradigm shift that would solve the Ds problems on crime messaging. Blech. And please don’t try this.
Democrats present their unresolved fights as evidence their party is healthy | CNN Politics
The debates roiling the Democratic Party, from the war in Gaza to how to discuss crime, were on full display during the Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting this week.

Um, huh? I think this article raises some interesting points but why is Joe Rogan being quoted?

Joe Rogan, who hosted Kennedy last year on his popular podcast, has called full-fat dairy “quite healthful.”
On this food issue, RFK Jr., the industry and nutritionists agree
The Trump administration is embracing whole milk, once demonized for its fat content, as a healthier option, citing new research that suggests it may be beneficial.

Unhinged levels of transphobia from Greg Gutfeld on Raging Moderates. @jessicatarlov.bsky.social offered not the slightest resistance. I'm open to pushback on liberal beliefs but this was they-don't-exist level and I doubt would go unchecked re. religious or racial minorities. These are our allies?

Axios seems sure that the White House analysis isn’t skewed or politicized or simply false. Because otherwise they wouldn’t run it as a news story right?

What annoys me is how the GOP denigrates every Dem until we start doing it ourselves. Do you roll your eyes when someone mentions Kamala Harris? Or Hillary Clinton? Or John Kerry? Because these are some smart-as-f*ck people. Also Beto O’Rourke, Pete Buttigieg, Ruben Gallego, Gretchen Whitmer….

I just voted for it and it’s going to hurt the people in my state. If only that could be made into some kind of ad.
She voted for it, but she’s against it and hopes the House makes changes. The Republican Party.

Grandpa is spiraling…..
Trump officially orders ICE to ratchet up its "enforcement" in Blue cities...

"ICE Officers are herewith ordered, by notice of this TRUTH, to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History."

What about his "pause"?

Love listening to a podcast where a prominent member of Congress spends 45 minutes talking about what Democrats “should” do. Um, just a thought, maybe go ahead and do it. Also, try to sound a little less relaxed.

is this real? That's a very odd thing to do. One thing to trip over something on the ground but walking right into a wall?
The current President, Donald Trump, walked into a wall yesterday when he was leaving the Capitol after speaking to the press with House Majority Leader Mike Johnson.

If we're going to bring up Biden's ability while in office, let's not leave Trump out.
