Heartsick about the NEA. The cutbacks and shift in priorities, but worse are the canceled grants already promised. Nonprofit arts organizations were counting on this money, and this surprise broken pledge endangers them; some will not survive. I think that’s the administration’s goal.

Eventually, truth and justice will prevail. Have no doubt about that. The question is how long it will take and how much of our national resources will be stolen, how irreversibly the natural world will be damaged, and how many precious lives will be destroyed in the meantime.
