"When there are no consequences to breaking things – when you can always just hit the “Undo” button – there’s no price to be paid by being 'reckless'. ... “Move fast and break things” works for billionaires who lose nothing but some of their money when they carelessly break something. Billionaires have more money than a family could spend a dozen lifetimes; they can afford to lose on gambles. It’s "just" money to them. Some are so wealthy, they could lose 99% of their money and *still* be billionaires. For the rest of us, the ordinary American who only gets one life and the small bit they manage to save up to keep themselves and their families alive: they *can’t* afford to pay the bill for the billionaire’s gambles. Because there’s no “Undo” button when people don’t get the medicine or help they need to live and they die. Because there’s no “Undo” program when iand and water gets poisoned, children get crippled, people’s dreams get destroyed. Because there’s no “Undo” button when people’s dreams – or lives – are lost because a careless billionaire broke the system they lived in, because they couldn’t be bothered to study the consequences. Because the *world* doesn’t have an “Undo” button when careless billionaires break parts of policy that were created after the Ludlow Massacre, the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, the 1929 Great Stock Market Crash, the Smoot-Hawley Tarriffs, the Great Depression, and the Second World War."
