I grow weary of people finding some kind of test they claim Democrats are failing to do, but almost to a person ignore the huge role media has had in how we got here - particularly the media's RELENTLESS normalization of every red line this administration crosses daily.

Exactly. Voter turnout for downballot and midterm elections is generationally low - averaging about 45-50% over the past CENTURY. Unless that changes, it's always going to be neck and neck with republicans, sadly.

Republicans already successfully prevented a conviction in the Senate the two times Trump was already impeached because a conviction in the Senate requires a 2/3 vote - something the Democrats haven't had in the Senate since 1967.

Of course anyone can ask, but even if articles were able to hit the floor, they would not pass as republicans have the majority and none of them have spines left.
