The #USAID website has just gone dark, amidst reporting #Trump may try to dissolve it completely.
But #Congress established USAID in statute, and Trump can't unilaterally override a statute by executive order.

A good but depressing read about what’s happening at USAID. I’ve been a director of a USAID project as an implementing partner & am expecting a furlough soon. But I’m horrified at the deadly and catastrophic impact that freezing our international aid will have on the world.
