My Xmas gift is here. All I wanted or needed. A 24’ x 18’ maple cutting board (1 1/2 thick) from John Boos. Have to oil it a lot, let it soak in. Then clear more room for its new home. To say I’m excited is to smother the word ‘excited’ with a pillow of murderous understatement.

I will take my monstrous CivPro final I think Tuesday. And the even-more monstrous take-home essay final for ConLaw is due end of the week. Then I am done for this semester. Staggered certainly but still standing probably.

Nutsy update- he’s actually feeling better today. I was a little heavy with his pain medication this morning. So he’s a bit in zombie mode.
This is a good sign! It means he’s at a lower pain level! I’ll obviously be adjusting meds for the afternoon.

This delights me! I did away with getting up on a ladder a couple years ago when I had my handyman install hooks all along the eaves. To put up my solar-powered Christmas lights, I have a pole with a hook on the end and just string them along one by one through the hooks.
