Michael @mspopok.bsky.social [interviewing @annabower.bsky.social about Lindsey Halligan]: Why did you decide to publish now?

Anna Bower: [many research reasons and] I wasn't sure she was done talking to me yet.

And now I have to wash the toothpaste off the mirror.😁😆

@andymccabe.bsky.social pronounces "disembling" (a sideways sort of lie) as "disassembling". In the context of justice: yikes! I thought I was mean!🙀

@npr.org Trump was not "elected" to the Kennedy Center's board. He appointed himself autocratically, as you previously reported.

Store applesauce is too sweet. So I make my own. But even the tart apples available in stores are too sweet, so I add apple cider vinegar to the apples while they stew. It adds a sharpness. This time I was thinking balsamic vinegar would add some umami. I'll let you know how it goes.

You know that legend that the National Anthem was a sobriety test? If you could sing it, you weren't to drink to be in public? The drunk guy on the bus is doing pretty well at singing it!

@msnbc.com please correct your style guide. The waters are "uncharted", suggesting no one drew the map yet. The waters are NOT "unchartered" suggesting no one wrote the laws yet.

One of the tech-broligarchy arrived at the necessity of their masculine ascendancy after an in depth exploration of martial arts.

To which I say: either the study was not in depth, or you didn't study it at all. Japanese martial arts are riddled with: women.

Today, @npr.org summarized Trump's plans as "a brief break from preparing to be president to attend his sentencing hearing." In the category of #thereIfixeditforyou, it should be "a brief break from spouting unhelpful, even harmful, bullshit about the LA fires to attend his sentencing hearing".

Disbar Judge Canon.

I looked it up it is a thing.

(It won't be done.)

I'm listening to @muellershewrote.bsky.social and @libradunn1.bsky.social read the latest filing from Giuliani's new lawyer.

I can hear my AP English teacher saying: know what your objective is.

And my parents (proofreaders) shouting SUBJECT VERB AGREEMENT.

This filing won't pass AP English. 1/2

Every so often I think I should travel. Seeing new places is fun! (Last time I flew was before 9/11.) Then I wake up today and see that American Airlines has grounded all flights on Christmas Eve, and I think staying home is where it is at!

Also, if you had an AA flight today: 🙀😿 hugs.

Sigh. It would have consequences. But wouldn't it be fun if everyone who interacted with Nancy Mace took off their clothes? It would be unprescribed exposure therapy to help her deal with her phobias.

Trump's prospective Thomas Homan border czar doesn't know about officers, buses, airplanes or even the budget. Funny thing about democracy: the money is public. ICE had $9.5b in 2024, and threefold increase over 2023.

So, Thomas Homan apparently doesn't know what Google is.

Dear US Senate: Trump's list of cabinet members (unqualified, clownish, dangerous) is why there is an advice and consent clause. Use it. Please.
