Successfully navigated the hullabaloo of the days surrounding last weekend (Carrie Underwood concert or something) for a deep dive into the book industry for military history books and memoirs during the interwar period. Running between Leesburg and DC these past ten days has definitely put the refuge of this place for Marshall into perspective. I too am ready to abandon my responsibilities in the city and stay home to plant tomatoes.
