Went to see Frankenstein in Bath last night - outstanding film. It's stunning in the most graphic ways possible. Olot is very different to the book though. Still enjoyed it immensly. If there's somewhere near you showing it, go see it and prepare to be blown away.

I was totally blown away by Hamilton and it's all I'm listening to
The performers, the music, the staging - Hamilton truly does live up to the hype

That Doctor Who series finale huh. That sure was something. Someone's going to have a lot of opinions about that.

Kaos is such a good TV show and I cannot BELIEVE I have fallen for another show about greek myths and legends which has been cancelled too early.

It's a big moment that we've finally ordered bookcases! Two months we've been here now and of course I'm now desperate to read the books still packed in boxes. Instead of the ones that are not packed in boxes.

I really wish I'd remembered more maths from secondary school because then I could tell you how many stitches are in this jumper. As it is, I can tell you it been five months and I'm not finished.

Legally Blonde the musical is better than the film and I'm sorry but the songs make it so much better.
It's not true of everything but its definitely true of this one.

Finally allowed myself to install Dragon Age: Veilguard - it was a reward for after the move - and I'm only a couple of hours in but it's spectacular so far, feels like I never left off from Inquisition

This might be the first time I've been consumed by a game since I 100%-ed Stardew Valley

I want to personally thank Itsu for single handedly keeping my instant noodle habit going even after I had to stop eating wheat. I'm legit so grateful

Kemi Badenoch tells Keir Starmer that "we had a Budget in March this year and tractors were not blockading the streets of Whitehall afterwards."

Anyway, here's the 'go slow' protest by farmers that blockaded the streets around Parliament following the Conservative Government's last Budget in March

Having now been in the process of trying to move house since APRIL I've come to the realisation that, once we move, I'm going to die in that house.
I can't imagine doing this all over again.

See, if we had moved house this weekend, I'd not be living at the top of a hill where these 70mph winds wake me up at 2am.

Is it too much to add a handmade secret santa gift to the three jumpers, a cardigan and a lace scarf I'm already currently knitting??

A gansey is a type of fisherman's jumper made of a very dense fabric, so dense its very nearly waterproof! Certain patterns were popular with different fishing villages, which is where the idea that you could identify where a sailor came from by the parents on his gansey. www.ganseys.com/ganseys/

Life is short. Write that novel. Paint that painting. Try new recipes. Learn black magic. Go into the forest at night. Summon a demon. Earn that demon's trust. Become best friends with it. Brag to everyone else about your new cool demon best friend. Knit that sweater.

Fucking hell, isn't it nice to not have a T3mu advert every three tweets or bots/paid for blue ticks

Just hope it stays like this.

The dopamine hit when I see PEOPLE as opposed to self-confessed Apartheid Clyde fans is a huge relief.

Let's continue to build this space and spread the luuuurve.

The thing that get me about this platform is that I've not seen an advert yet. It been so long since I could scroll for 10 minutes and not see a single advert, it's like when I first went on social media at the legal age of 13

This is excellent knitting advice too. If you have 6 things on the go, you can flit between them when you get bored
My method for not burning myself out while drawing is to have multiple pieces at the same time. When I'm stuck on one artwork I can switch to the other and still make progress. Even if its just one little brush stroke. This way drawing became more casual.

My first post is naturally going to have to be about knitting! I'm part of a project here in Plymouth to restore the gansey as a piece of our culture and heritage aaaaand here is my gansey! It's slow going but seeing the progress I'm making so far feels awesome
