@nhsengland.bsky.social destroyed kids lives by forceably detransitioning them.

This should be front page news (It won't be of course).

Please share this widely.

Is NHSE forcing young people to detransition?
The minutes of a meeting, leaked to NWBylines, strongly indicate NHSE does not want the prescribing of puberty blockers at WellBN to continue

Labour bods love to warble on about protecting democracy from Reform, but if your national broadcaster can't tell the truth because Starmer's government is desperate to kiss up to Trump, your democracy is already being trampled.
The important bit about this story - in reality the only important bit because nothing here is new - is that it delivers to an audience previously unaware of it a truth about the BBC's relationship to power: craven. www.theguardian.com/media/2025/n...

If you can think of it, Starmer has probably lied about it.

Extraordinary.

If you still support Starmer and Labour you are in fact no form of 'lefty' or 'woke'. You're an arsehole.

Centrist types love trotting out Labour's green credentials as a defence against their atrocious social policies.

I think today's budget with the announcement that they're taxing EVs per mile, and their working towards creating a loophole for Rosebank puts a nail in that argument.

1997 called and asked for its shitty, expensive policy back...
At the Budget, the Chancellor just announced 250 new Neighbourhood Health Centres...

... but didn't mention their decision to use private finance to fund them 🧐

Why? Are they ashamed of their plan to resurrect the corpse of PFI in our NHS? They should be. #AutumnBudget

Motability vehicles are paid for out of people's PIP, the cost of the award will be the same to the taxpayer whether one gets a cheap or a luxury car using the scheme.

Even by Labour standards, total bullshit. A move that achieves nothing, to make ableist cunts happy.

The stories coming out about suicides linked to ChatGPT should rightly horrify anyone. These systems have no filter beyond what their owners deem to be profitable, and no ability to guide good decision making.

And Starmer's government wants to give them access to hordes of our data...

Replies in this thread tell a real tale about centrist idiocy.

This being an off the cuff answer aside, Zack lives close to St Pancras, and he would never get elected in a seat as far right as Clacton. Standing there would be the stunt whiny centrists are accusing him of.
Zack Polanski tells the BBC it would be "very tempting" for him to stand in Keir Starmer's seat at the next general election

The performance impact of core isolation in Windows is rather insane.

Got myself a new editing laptop powered by an Ultra 5 225H, and the cinebench R23 score jumped from ~10,500 to ~14,800 just from disabling core isolation. Around a 40% performance gain.

The best thing you can give your trans siblings at a time when politicians are dead set on erasing us is to stop voting for and supporting parties who want us erased from society. join.greenparty.org.uk
Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember the transgender lives lost to violence.

The Green Party stands shoulder to shoulder with transgender people in the face of increasing transphobic rhetoric in our society and politics.

AI bloat is insane. The AI core app on Android takes up 6GB of space and can't be uninstalled without root. And the spell checker on the keyboard has gotten worse since they started replacing basic syntactical checking with AI checking. A new dawn for humanity? Fuck off...
