These two! I went into the bookstore to pick up a book if ordered and found these on the shelves to join the fun.

Repost with a photo of yours that would make a good album cover.

Post a picture of when your pet was little.

My litter of hooligans I’m still so thankful I got to keep together. They were about a month old here and still with the foster mom that is a dear friend.

But it’s honestly a ‘I could count them on one hand’ kind of list because of a track record kind of thing.

Unrelated, I offer a picture from my morning:

Jekyll was only slightly irritated I interrupted bath time to snap a quick photo of my weekend read: At Dark, I Become Loathsome by Eric LaRocca.

Tomas say thank you and he loves you back.

I’m this far into my current read (Theme Music) and revelations were just made which made me 😳😱 and I have to get ready for work shortly 😭
March 2, 2025 at 3:30 PM
During the chaos of life last year I misplaced/packed into storage my first copy of Theme Music by T Marie Vandelly so I bought a second copy so I can finish the dang thing.

It is a blustery snow day outside so I’ll be burrowed in blankets with my book.

Oh hi.
February 20, 2025 at 6:24 PM
I need to make the time to take my camera and tripod out for a drive at night. These were some quick snaps with my phone when walking a dog.

Snowy nights are so much fun.

A glorious start to the day with coffee, some cats, and a book. I regretfully had to make them move so I could head to work despite the ongoing snow flurries.

This evening’s acquisition book stack.

Shout out to @sadiehartmann.bsky.social and @claymcleod.bsky.social for the inspiration for some of these purchases.

Jekyll helping share a recent acquisition via @waterstones.bsky.social as it’s not available in the US.

Feeding the Monster: Why Horror Has A Hold On Us by Anna Bogutskaya.

I’ve been so excited to read this one!

It was -14 when I left for the new part-time day job. It is beautiful out but whew do I wish I could stay home, burrow under blankets, and just read the day away.

Oh drat… and this was in the mailbox today.
February 10, 2025 at 9:09 PM
I haven’t seen this book in any of my normal book rec avenues but I came across it when browsing my local indie’s shelves.

A blurb from both @tananarivedue.bsky.social and @paultremblay.bsky.social on the back?? Uh, instantly sold.
February 8, 2025 at 2:18 PM
Continuing my book-buying indulgence era… I bought the two arrivals I’d ordered and then browsed the shelves managing to find four other titles my shelves needed.

And my indie has at least half a dozen others still on order for me 😳😂🤷‍♀️
