Reported by whom? Could you provide a source, please?

How do you know the alleged shooter was here illegally?

And if the person he got the gun from didn't do so, they'd be fine. And if his parents had taught him to deal with anger better, they'd be fine. And if there hadn't been an Afghanistan invasion, they'd be fine. And so on.
Respectfully, please learn the difference between direct and indirect.

Although one could argue that Trump is *indirectly* responsible, he is certainly not directly responsible. That would be the gunman.
November 27, 2025 at 1:32 AM
Whether or not they *should* be there is irrelevant. The act itself is heinous and cannot be justified.

It also has the added bonus of removing the word "republic" from the word, which is such a passe concept...

"The new round of negotiated prices will go into effect in 2027. Reduced prices for the inaugural round of 10 drugs negotiated by the Biden administration last year will go into effect in January."

Example of a leader caring more about doing what's right vice doing something to just get credit.

Thanks for sharing! The political trope portion didn't seem very cogent. Simply because there are poor outcomes in red states doesn't mean conservatives don't support family values. Similarly, noting a small minority of liberals are anti-vaxx doesn't mean liberals don't tend to embrace science.

The basic phrase, "people would rather [x] than invest in a better future" is almost certainly true across most contexts.

How can you be so sure? This whole thing reflects very poorly on Repub Senators. And unanimous passage by the House sends a pretty clear message...
November 20, 2025 at 3:32 AM
So does it go back to the Senate now?
November 20, 2025 at 2:29 AM
how so?
November 20, 2025 at 2:29 AM
"lose votes like this one?" What?

How is it remotely comforting if legislation passes "requiring" the release of the Epstein files when the President could have directed that action at any time? What a bunch of meaningless political theater.

What is your source for that 70% figure?
November 16, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Curious if you could make that headline any more confusing?

FFS. Can't help but wonder if they posted this using a smart phone whose battery is powered by mining for rare earths and was manufactured using forced labor and then shipped across the world using a carbon-intense footprint??

This discussion seems so silly & pedantic. Could the Republicans have created another carveout for the filibuster and ended the shutdown? Yes. Could 8+ Dems have voted for passage of the CR to end the shutdown? Yes. It's not reasonable to assert, "The minority party cannot shut down the government."
