Another fantastic show this year at Partizan. Some great games and a slightly new layout that worked really well.

The Priming has begun.
With the ongoing Vallejo workers strike I've made the switch to AK for this bottle and really enjoying it so far, a very matte appearance and after 24 hours to set up looks pretty hard wearing too

Rubicon Models new M48A3 kit released with perfect timing for my ongoing Vietnam project.

Something a bit different. Last thursday down at the club trying out Mantic Games new Halo: Flashpoint release. Based on the deadzone system it has some really great mechanics that make it a great fun game for the evening, a lot more strategy and depth to it that the quick and simple rules suggest!

Really enjoyed assembling this M113 ACAV from Rubicon Models. An absolutely superb piece of engineering with a very precise fit that made it simple and easy to put together.
Not one for those who dislike kits with lots of parts though!

These two rifle barrels where bent back when they arrived and my straightening attempts were unsuccessful.
Does anyone have some good tips for making replacements? Brass rod?

I think I'm going to go 28mm but which range of minis? Love the Empress metals or try the new Rubicon plastics?

My main editing laptop has also been out of commission being in Germany for repairs, it's now back so I should finally get time to edit The Other Partizan video this week 🫡

Quite enjoyed rebel moon, good entertainment and well produced.
TLDR: building up for a space seven samurai.
I can see how people relate it to 40k but, starwars less so, it feels more grounded. If anything for me it's more firefly meets dune, with magnificent seven thrown in for good measure.
