Had to make the hard call yesterday and say goodbye to the bestest boy. That was awful... then the usually silent cat spent most of the night stalking around the house shouting which made it so much worse.

Last night around 1 AM, I heard my dog in the front room having an absolute freak out. So I drag myself up and find him struggling to get up, laying in his own feces. I lifted him up, cleaned him off, and he had no problem walking around. He just couldn't stand up on his own.

Ugh... I am THIS old. We had a hand-me-down TI-99A way back in the mid-80s and my memory of it is spotty and fragmented but here we are. I am old AF.

Suddenly wanted PB&... something. Wasn't sure, so indulged and had them all.
Peanut butter, strawberry jam, marshmallow fluff, apricot preserves, banana, nutella. It obviously ended up too sweet. Next time will replace strawberry with spicy as heck pepper preserves. Maybe a tart apple butter?

Finally replaced water heater. It was endless comedy of errors. Just waiting for it to cure to test if it will hold. Fun times.

It's really hard being a huge mystery lover but completely intolerant of police and the majority of their fictional depictions. This just had episode 4 hit and so far it's a solid Holmes derivative. Nothing great but a fun time with decent enough, given short episode run times, medical mysteries.
