i just reached her in time
felt the flutter of movement
slow-sluggish but real

What matters
is that you matter
even when
you think you don't.

are hands that hold
arms that hug
and hearts that love.

Someone You are someone because the storm gathers and still you stand. Because another's sorrow moves through you and you don't turn away. Not for what you say, but for how you listen, even when you don't know how. You are someone in the weight of a glance that refuses to let another fall. Someone, not for what you might become, but for what you already are when the weather breaks and you remain, steady, unhidden. You matter. Flawed, yes. Unfinished, always. But unmistakably here.
