Where I was a year ago was literally just "basic needs met, a couple hundred dollars of discretionary income every month." I don't feel like that's too much to ask? We are a two-income family and both incomes are skilled jobs. We should not have to beg for help to buy baby formula.

If my math is right (and I'm pretty sure it is because this is basically all I get to think about anymore) I'd need a $5/hr raise just to get back to where I was a year ago. Yes, some of that is the baby and therefore not work's problem, but the point stands. And tbh I still deserve more than $19

And thanks to the stress, I went from being one of the best employees they had (literally, from my boss's mouth) to 50% capacity...and somehow still probably one of the best because morale is so low my boss can't even face us in a meeting, lol, so I doubt anyone else is really trying either

But even that microscopic raise is being withheld in a year where basically everything gets more expensive by the minute, and also when I just had a baby and life automatically costs more. So great.

Give us goddamn raises and maybe I wouldn't be so stressed out that I can barely function. And I don't mean 72¢ raises.

I found the email finally. It went to spam. 🙄 Thank you again. 💜

Wow. That is ridiculous. But thank you so much.

I got nicknamed Cricket by the high school yearbook staff. It started as Grasshopper because I was the youngest (ever) on staff, but then someone said "nah, Cricket. She's chirpy and always wearing black."

Thank you, and I didn't think you would stalk me lol. I'm not sure why it didn't keep the address, that's weird.

If we switch back to name brand, we can do it.

The wrong one is the one we were forced to open last night, so now B has to go through two rounds of changing formula. I don't know why everything has to be so difficult all the damn time.
November 12, 2025 at 1:55 PM
I would, but we're trying to switch to Walmart brand so we don't have to deal with target anymore, and they have three different "sensitive" ones under the same listing and sent us the wrong one last time, so we have to get it in person, between that and cans getting damaged in shipping.
November 12, 2025 at 1:53 PM
And because it was shipped, they want us to return it by mail before they'll process a refund. We don't have that kind of time to get it refunded and replaced.

Probably, yes. I think I'm as tired as anyone has ever been in the history of forever.
