This tool helps Bluesky users manage unwanted interactions. It allows you to quickly block or mute a large number of users based on specific criteria, for example, by just providing the URL of a post with unwanted content.

Blockenheimer now owns its identity!

This account is using the did:web DID method (blockenheimer.click/.well-known/...) and is hosted on my own PDS, meaning we're not reliant in any way on Bluesky's infrastructure anymore.

In order to take advantage of Bluesky's decentralized identity features, we are migrating to a new account: @new.blockenheimer.click.

If you're concerned about accidentally blocking too many people: you can use Blockenheimer's "mute all" button instead!

Blockenheimer creates a mute list to contain its mutes. Thus, you can instantly disable all of Blockenheimer's mutes, and posts hidden by Blockenheimer mutes are labeled as such.

Blockenheimer is a tool to generate moderations lists; the use-case we encourage is muting large amounts of bigots. We, however, don't manage any lists ourselves. If you see yourself on any lists named "Blockenheimer", those are managed by users, not us, and we have no influence over their contents!

Two updates today:
- Blockenheimer can now use any list, not just the auto-generated mute list! This should be helpful to users of the new curation lists, or who otherwise use lists for purposes other than muting.
- If you like what we do and want to support us, donation info is now on the website.

Update: the "Unblocker" tool now allows you to delete the Blockenheimer-generated mute list.

Blockenheimer now saves (in your browser) a history of posts you've entered into the tool, and allows you to revert the mutes or blocks created by use on that post.

Important note: the "unblock all" button is NOT limited to blocks created through use of Blockenheimer. As always, use these tools with caution!

If you've accidentally blocked yourself, through use of Blockenheimer or otherwise, the "unblock yourself" button will solve that problem.
