Labor Day’s about one simple truth: this country runs on the hard work and grit of everyday folks. We honor the people who keep America moving and we’ve got their backs today and everyday.

Congrats to all of us for the opportunity to live during one of the dumbest moments in American history

I have my own thoughts about this disaster choice of Chair for the CO GOP, but here’s a sample of the takes from her own Party. #copolitics:

Gabe Evans went to DC and immediately started slashing services like Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. No one voted for him to do this, so it’s no surprise he’s hiding from voters.

These billboards are going up in CD8 to make sure everyone knows it.

Sometimes evidence of a broken fence ain’t too hard to find.

Quite the homecoming for Pueblo’s — and Colorado’s — friend and hometown hero, Leroy Garcia hosted by the Pueblo Dems! We had a great town hall about the path forward towards making sure the town has great representation for years to come, and that we aggressively fight for working people.

Gabe Evans has the chance to be one of three Republicans who can vote NO to kill the GOP’s cuts to Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. We rallied outside of his office to demand he does the right thing for 73,000 CD8 constituents on Medicaid, not his billionaire backers. #copolitics

Just had the privilege of nominating Colorado’s
own Adam Frisch for DNC Vice Chair! Our struggles with winning over rural people means that we need to put folks who know the way out of that struggle into leadership positions. What a thrill to elevate Colorado in our national Party!

We’re excited to be representing CO here in Washington DC to shape the future of the Democratic Party — but just as disappointed to be missing the first day of our CDP reorgs. We’ll keep you posted as we elect new national leadership…

Trump only brings fear, chaos, and confusion to people and we need to take him on every time he blames everyone but himself. 1/2

Workin’ our tails off to elect my friend and colleague @kenmartin.bsky.social the next DNC Chair! #democrats

Gabe Evans owes Colorado an explanation.

Privileged to be at a beautiful celebration of my dear friend Senator Janet Buckner and her years of service…she embodies the spirit of servant leadership in rare and amazing ways.

Today was also an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the cause of the year’s theme: “make real the promises of democracy.” The cold couldn’t stop us from that.

It may have been about 5 degrees, but the warmth of this community coming together to honor Dr. King’s legacy — particularly on a day like today, when the country is inaugurating Donald Trump again — was a much needed respite.

That’s why as we reorganize our Party, we’re sending all new Party officers, electeds and committee members membership cards, welcome letters, and packets on how to succeed in this role. One of many ideas on how we can do things differently. What are yours?

Some thoughts on transitioning the Democratic Party to a membership-based model of engagement — our members should feel like they’re part of something bigger and not just on a mailing list.

I'm proud to endorse @kenmartin.bsky.social for DNC Chair. My support for Ken comes from his care, tenacity + commitment to the values + hardworking people that form the backbone of our Party.

Ken's record is unmatched -- his leadership will help us reclaim victories across the nation.

Howdy folks - I hope you're having a restful and peaceful end to the year. I'm saddened by the death of President Jimmy Carter today and wanted to share some thoughts with you as we reflect on his life and service to our country.

Exciting news: the @coloradoaflcio.bsky.social has endorsed me for another term as CDP Chair! This is an especially meaningful endorsement for me, and an important indicator of the trust and working relationship we've rebuilt between the CDP and our friends in Labor.
