You can test it by tracking your drawings. For ex if I have a walk cycle and something looks weird about it I will make a separate layer and put a dot down, for like, every heel of every foot drawing and then look at just the dots to see what it’s doing.

Ty!! 💜 I also used to figure that more frames = better, but when I learned about animation, I found out it’s more about timing aka the spacing between drawings than the number of them!
