I am much the same. Books or music I can discuss at length. I can even BS my way through sports convos. TV and movies are nearly a foreign language for me.

Makes me wonder about regional beer preference demographics. We’re still drowning in IPAs up here. I wish the local breweries would make more stouts and porters. I get that some breweries make IPAs their thing, and that’s fine, but it seems like it’s all anyone makes up here.
