I really enjoyed Anthem but there was so much potential wasted. Bummed it’s dying forever.
With the game months away from disappearing, I booted up Anthem again. I wanted to see the game for its unmet potential, but after everything that's happened to BioWare since, it reads more like a trend-chasing blip on the company's legacy than ever. But still, it shouldn't die this stupid death.
Anthem Was A Mistake, But It Didn't Deserve To Die Like This
BioWare is shutting down its ill-fated loot shooter, and all that will be left is a crater where the studio’s legacy once was

i think it is deeply uncontroversial and reasonable to suggest that always-online games have some sort of end of life plan to preserve these games when support ends
