It's amazing how often on BlueSky a polite fact check, with a mainstream source to back it up, results in an immediate block. Blocking objective facts is sad.
Zimmerman was pinned to the ground getting beaten in what a witness described as a "ground and pound."

Rittenhouse was attacked by a career criminal who'd threatened to kill him if he found him alone, found him alone, chased him as his friend fired a pistol, cornered him & lunged for him.

I like that they reposted what I said but still didn't answer the question of how you can't shoot someone in the back who's trying to reverse their car over you. Logic is the enemy.

This place just gets sillier and sillier. All who question must be cast out!!

Your own link says he was backing his car up towards the officer that shot him. So, if someone is trying to run you over in reverse, you can't shoot at them?

If they'd only been knocking, you'd be 100% correct, however they weren't just knocking. They were trying to open the door. They had a key for the home they were supposed to be cleaning. Too bad the people inside didn't yell "go away" or "I have a gun." Would have avoided the whole thing.

There are many gay conservatives, even some who are deeply MAGA/Trump supporters. Robinson isn't one of them.

Using an illegal firearm (it wasn't an illegal firearm) doesn't invalidate your right to self-defense. They just face a gun charge, not a murder charge. This isn't uncommon. bsky.app/profile/sgtw...

Tyler Robinson wasn't "a Trump Supporter MAGA." He came from a conservative family but was living with his boyfriend who was transitioning. His family says his politics were to the Left. This was covered in part in his charging documents. www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...

This was the press release from a year before his trial. You might ask yourself why your new source(s) led you to believe he'd brought it from IL, when in reality he'd driven to WI the day before the shooting to go to his regular job in Kenosha. content.govdelivery.com/accounts/ILL...

The gun used by Rittenhouse was purchased in WI, stored in WI & had never left WI. This was announced by the police a year before his trial & covered in the prosecutor's opening statement. Shooting people attacking you isn't "cold blood." He's lucky it was all on video, from multiple angles.

If the person who is cuffed is grabbing them by the genitals, as is alleged in this case, or in other cases where they're biting, kicking, or otherwise assaulting the officer while in cuffs, they can absolutely use force to stop that assault. This is well established law.

I don't take comments personally from people who don't think logically. For instance, people who accuse everyone who disagrees with them of being "MAGA" 😱 bsky.app/profile/sgtw...
Sure, everyone who has an opinion that differs from you is "MMMAAGGAA!!" Or, I'm making factual observations that contradict what you believe.

Given how often I call Trump a toddler, I don't think I'm welcome in the MAGA club.
November 5, 2025 at 1:20 PM
Ambiguity exists in this incident. You appear to be assuming the grab didn't happen, when you have no way of knowing if it did or didn't.
November 5, 2025 at 1:17 PM
No, I don't agree "that ICE used unnecessary force in this case."

I stated that if in fact the suspect was grabbing the officer's genitals, the use of force is justified.

If the suspect was doing nothing to the ICE officer, then it wasn't.

This isn't difficult.
November 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM
I don't know if it occurred & neither do you.

If you crash into a car when they slam the brakes, then you're following too closely. The only time it wouldn't be the following driver's fault is if the leading car cut in front & then immediately slammed on the brakes. www.ilsos.gov/content/dam/...
November 5, 2025 at 12:42 PM
It is a documented fact that ICE has claimed the suspect was grabbing the officer's genitals. That doesn't mean it's a fact that occurred. IF that did indeed happen, it's a fact that punching the suspect until they let go is legally a justifiable use of force.
November 5, 2025 at 12:18 PM
You weren't there. I wasn't there. The video is ambiguous. Therefore, I chose to use the word "if," since I don't know if the accusation is true, and neither do you. If I'd stated for a fact it had happened, that would be "unsubstantiated nonsense," but I didn't state it as a fact. 🤷‍♀️
November 5, 2025 at 12:00 PM
Nope, I said "if that happened." You instantly assume I thought they were telling the truth. What a joke. 🤣
November 5, 2025 at 11:24 AM
I said, "If that's what happened."

If that is what happened, punching the person until they let go is appropriate use of force.
November 5, 2025 at 10:06 AM
The suspect reportedly had grabbed & was squeezing the agent's genitals. If that's what happened, the punches are appropriate.
November 5, 2025 at 9:38 AM
Point taken. I read it, but missed you were making a proposal, not a claim of fact.
November 5, 2025 at 7:31 AM
Praised by whom? I won't miss articles whitewashing cop-killing Marxists.
November 4, 2025 at 12:36 PM
I read the thread. You said, "Any illegal purchase that results in a death gets life in prison without possibility of parole as a minimum sentence." This is objectively false. The maximum penalty in Federal Court is 25 years. There is no minimum sentence. The standard range would be 3-5 years.
November 4, 2025 at 9:57 AM
This is incorrect. The maximum sentence in Federal court is 25 years & the straw-purchaser would also have to have reason to know the gun was going to be used in a felony.
www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/...

There is no such enhancement in Wisconsin law for a straw-purchased gun used in a death.
