Thanks for giving this a go & trusting me. I'm super glad you enjoyed it. It's one of those titles that doesn't get enough attention and it's such a moving story w/beautiful artwork. Happy it resonated with you!!!

I've got the PB edition of the Tidhar book, but it's still unread. Have you read his Central Station?

Both are sitting in my wish list as well. I'll wait for them to go on sale at some point & then grab them.

I still have all my Legos from my childhood, but haven't bought any since either. I'm just flabbergasted at the $350 price tag.... that's a lot more books, a lot more possibilities of ideas & stories.

That said, u should get it so I can see photos as you complete it 😉

The new sets are so cool, but way to expensive for my tastes.

It's obviously all the new hires 😉

November 5, 2025 at 10:17 PM
Lol, that blurb is not even close to the story! Marketing is such a wonderful thing 🙄

Excellent!! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy!

No real preference, thinking of my fav books and there are great examples of both.

Great question!! For me it's all about, would I recommend it & that's the difference between 2 & 3 stars. This is how I think of the star rating

5 star: A must read & must own
4 star: A great read, definitely worthy of owning
3 star: Worth a read, not something I need to own
2 star: Can't recommend

I like knowing it's not just me 😉 I definitely won't be rereading this one..... it's already in the pile for the used book shop. So the positive is, I've freed up shelf space..... guess I'll *have to buy more 🤔

Can't remember, have u read House of Suns? If not, when you're ready for some space opera, that's an easy rec - I loved it.

I've got a few books to tackle and then I'll give Redemption Ark a go.

That's good to know! I know I shouldn't trust the star ratings, but I was definitely expecting more from all the ratings. By the last 100 pages I just wanted it to be done.

I'm really hoping the other Relevation Space books are much better!
