They started dumbing it down about 20 years ago - zero analysis, all repeated headlines. I stopped watching it after 2014, like many Scots, due to the heavy unionist bias, which appears to have got worse. Now it's simply unwatchable. I barely trust their sports reporting let alone their news.

surely the point of a criminal trial is to establish
did the person in the dock do the crime
or not?
that's not down to the balance of 12 randomly different opinions or feelings, some of which might be ideological or nuts,
