just heard a report from America on LBC in which the journalist stated categorically that Trump is now embracing full-on racist fascism.

this follows Trump's announcement that all Somalis are scum & will be deported. his Cabinet applauded.

why can't the BBC
the tabloid press
or Sky News say this?

Indeed. It's ongoing but entirely ignored by the media. And sadly noticed by very many voters. If you vote Tory, Labour, LibDem or Reform you are voting for the continued dismantling of devolution.

There is no official agreement of any kind that a referendum in 2014 was "once in a generation", there is however an official agreement that Scotland can choose to become independent if it is the wish of the people that live here.

They started dumbing it down about 20 years ago - zero analysis, all repeated headlines. I stopped watching it after 2014, like many Scots, due to the heavy unionist bias, which appears to have got worse. Now it's simply unwatchable. I barely trust their sports reporting let alone their news.

surely the point of a criminal trial is to establish
did the person in the dock do the crime
or not?

that's not down to the balance of 12 randomly different opinions or feelings, some of which might be ideological or nuts,

it's about a reasoned assessment of evidence.

What we're seeing is exactly what we saw in the late 1940s, the late 1960s and the mid- to late 1970s: a concerted and hysterical campaign to delegitimise a Labour government, and indeed the very idea of Labour governments at all.
