Even if the software used was within the rules, the fact that it wasn't the specific version checked by officials is the fuck-up.

This has actually been really educational, as I've today learned the difference between "homologated", as in the verb of being checked and certified, and "legal". I think I assumed they were synonymous but I guess the key here is what version of the software was given the OK by officials.

It will be very interesting to see what happens when you add Martin into that mix.
